SUCCESS STORIES

IMPRESSIVE LIGHTNESS

Our user-orientated system solutions have already impressed many customers in industry, logistics and trade.

Applications & Types of Vacuum Lifters

AERO-LIFT vacuum lifters handle smooth surfaces just as well as porous wood and textured trapezoidal sheet metal. The key lies in the combination of vacuum lifting technology and the appropriate surface grippersflat, bellows, or oval suction cup attachments—tailored to the specific application. To this end, the specialists at AERO-LIFT, a manufacturer of vacuum lifting equipment based in Baden-Württemberg, have put together a comprehensive standard product portfolio: hose lifters, surface gripper solutions, battery-powered vacuum lifters, and specialized lifting equipment for every application.

CUSTOMISED SOLUTIONS

No matter what challenge you are facing – in addition to our standard portfolio, we offer customised handling systems that are specifically tailored to your needs.

Custom Solutions for Vacuum Lifters

If our standard portfolio does not meet your specific requirements, we offer customized solutions for your particular application, ranging from heavy-duty vacuum lifters with a 60-metric-ton lifting capacity, to precision vacuum lifters for tubular elements or surface-gripper lifting devices that operate using so-called VUSS valve technology (VUSS stands for “Vacuum Unit Sensing System”). With VUSS technology, “intelligent” small patented valves detect when they need to automatically open or close to generate a vacuum—for example, when there are recesses in the workpiece.

Vacuum Lifters: Handling Systems & Complete Solutions

All vacuum lifting devices can be integrated with the customer’s existing crane and rail systems or, upon request, offered as a complete unit. By combining vacuum lifting devices, cranes, and chain hoists, we offer you a customized and comprehensive material-handling system. Our services range from initial consultation and planning to the installation and commissioning of customized solutions.

Vacuum Lifters: Suction Cups & Components

The vacuum components of the vacuum lifters can be customized to meet your specific requirements—from selecting the right suction cups to designing the optimal system configuration. This ensures that your vacuum lifters are integrated into your existing processes efficiently, safely, and with minimal maintenance.

Vacuum Lifter Accessories

In addition to our vacuum lifters, we offer compatible accessories for maximum flexibility in everyday work. These include, among other things, interchangeable suction cups and transport boxes—for example, for battery-powered vacuum lifters—to specifically enhance handling, mobility, and range of applications.

Maximum efficiency

through vacuum handling technology

What is a vacuum lifter?

A vacuum lifter is a lifting device that securely grips and moves loads using negative pressure. It is used for the efficient and ergonomic handling of a wide variety of materials to optimize work processes and reduce the physical strain on employees.

For which materials are vacuum lifters suitable?

Vacuum lifters are suitable not only for smooth surfaces, but also for porous or textured materials such as wood, corrugated sheet metal, or cardboard, provided the configuration is chosen appropriately.

What types of vacuum lifters are there?

The most important types include tube lifters, sheet grippers, box grippers, and specialized vacuum lifters for glass, wood, sheet metal, or corrugated sheet metal.

What happens to the load lifted by the vacuum lifter in the event of a power outage?

Thanks to the large vacuum reservoir, the load is still held securely even in the event of a power failure. The electronic warning system monitors the vacuum lifter’s power supply and sounds a siren in the event of a power failure. The law requires a minimum holding time of 5 minutes for vacuum lifters used with airtight cargo.

There is an exception for vacuum lifters with blowers used for air-permeable cargo; in this case, a blower with a safety flywheel or battery backup must be used. A siren also sounds in the event of a power failure. The law prescribes a minimum holding time in this case as well.
