AERO-LIFT exhibition team thanks you for great LIGNA

The visitor numbers at LIGNA 2019, the largest leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing, show that the industry is equipped for the future. At the end of May, more than 90,000 visitors from all over the world visited the 1,500 exhibitors in Hanover to find out about innovative machines and processes for the woodworking and furniture industries.

AERO-LIFT was in hall 15, booth D01 again with a booth. We are very satisfied with the number of visitors:

"We had already arranged fixed dates with interested parties and partners at the trade fair in advance. These and other discussions can lead to very concrete handling projects. This will then be demonstrated by the follow-up processing of the enquiries. Our vacuum lifting devices were bravely tried and tested by the visitors. Many had an aha experience and were surprised how easy it is to operate our vacuum lifters and how easily a heavy wooden beam can be moved," says Tobias Pauli, Managing Director of AERO-LIFT.

"I was very satisfied with the LIGNA. There was a lot going on and the visitors were very international this year. We had significantly more visitors for example from South Africa, the Balkans and Asia. Our visitor magnet at the booth was clearly our robot with VUSS large-area gripper suction arm. The robot lifted six different applications at high speed. Even in the swivelled and turned position, the respective wooden goods could be fixed and lifted with our patented valve technology, even with little suction surface", says Steffen Auer, employee in the technical sales department at AERO-LIFT.

The vacuum components on display, such as special suction cups, suction plates and connecting elements for the woodworking industry, also met with particular interest among the trade fair visitors. These special vacuum components can be used profitably for the increasing automation in the industry. High cycle rates are thus achieved in a manner that is gentle on the material.

Suction-lifting-lowering release is the simple basic principle of all AERO-LIFT tube lifters. The patented VUSS valve technology in the special suction foot of this tube lifter enables the suction of plate materials even with recesses such as stair stringers. Numerous additional functions make working easier and enable an ergonomic working posture. Loads caused by lifting, bending and moving the loads are largely avoided. Tube lifters with or without VUSS suction foot close the gap between feeding and processing machines, require little space and are always in place in conjunction with a ceiling-rail system.

The AERO-TIMBER is designed for long materials up to a length of approx. 13 metres, a width of approx. 48 cm and a weight of up to 600 kg, e.g. glulam, solid structural timber, rough sawn beams, but also logs. Due to the three individually lockable chambers per suction plate, frames from 8 cm width and even blockware with core cracks can be sucked in. Muscle power, grippers and belt solutions are now a thing of the past. The AERO-TIMBER moves a lot of wood "through the hut" and is optionally available with a convenient radio remote control.
